Good questions, honest answers
Before you reach out.
- How far in advance should we book?
- For ceremonies, six to twelve months is ideal — especially for spring and fall weekends. For honeymoons and destination weddings, the earlier the better: nine to twelve months gives us the best choice of rooms, flights, and rates. That said, if your date is sooner, reach out anyway. I've made beautiful things happen on short timelines.
- Where do you officiate?
- I'm based in North Carolina and have officiated nearly 100 weddings across NC, Virginia, Tennessee, and Florida. I'm happy to travel farther — if your ceremony is somewhere new, let's talk about it.
- What does honeymoon planning cost?
- In most cases, my travel planning comes at no extra cost to you — I'm compensated by the resorts, cruise lines, and tour partners I book with. You get a personal advisor and the same (or better) pricing you'd find on your own.
- Can you do both — our ceremony and our travel?
- Absolutely, and it's my favorite way to work. For destination weddings especially, having one person who knows your story planning the journey and standing with you at the altar makes the whole celebration feel seamless.
- What happens after we reach out?
- I'll reply personally within a day or two. We'll set up a relaxed conversation — no pressure, no obligation — to hear your story, talk through what you're dreaming of, and see if we're a good fit. From there, I'll put together next steps tailored to you.
